Original mixed media on archival paper · 21 × 28 cm · unframed · signed and dated include Certificate of Authenticity · one of one unique work
Autumn Wildflowers in Pitcher is a recent work from the studio where a collection of sunflowers, black-eyed susans and daylilies found themselves abundantly and inspiringly stuffed into a pitcher. A recent comment from a collector shared a beautiful vision she sees in the flowers where the image of a dancing woman, dancing in joy emerges. As much as I love the flowers in this image, I love the coffee pot and cups just as much. There is a capturing of a brief moment during a cool Autumn morning with the newness of a day in the air.
