EMERGING THREADS
Group Exhibit, Work Premiere
July 25-August 2 2025

Emerging Threads highlighted Armenian feminine resilience carrying on traditional carpet weaving practices. Using symbols of revelation and eternity in the work was intended as a bright reminder of perseverance. Traditional carpet weaving traditions were passed down by women using the cochineal beetle for bright red colours. The colour and work expresses strength and empowerment.
