All The Ways We Lied by Aida Zilelian highlights the nuances and drama of Armenian family life. I had the joy of creating this special book cover for Aida, inspired by a traditional Armenian family home painted with watercolour. What’s so exciting is bringing in the cultural elements into the work like the bust of Komitas on the piano, the Sis and Masis painting, and the khachkar cross-stone set on the bookshelf.

“Set in Queens, New York, meet the Manoukians—a dysfunctional Armenian family and the fraying rope that binds them.”
